Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to six additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training above and beyond a general dentistry degree. As certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, we manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Additionally, Drs. Scheetz, Ellis and Rekos are part of the team of Oral Surgeons for the Columbus Blue Jackets, responsible for treating oral, facial and jaw injuries sustained by the NHL players.
